Guess who took the time to rehaul her site--or rather, found the perfect code for a decades-long dream of having a "landing page"?
(The screenshot is resized in-browser to get all the images in one for, well, the screenshot.)
I've always wanted this kinda cool "links, go have fun" landing page and now I finally have it! Hooray \ o /
Each one gets an overlay pop-up with explanations and each image/overlay is its own link to the thing in question

I've also added two new images to Original and FanArt, respectively o7
The index to my portfolio now also looks like this as a result:
Shout-out to @yon who let me know once the headline texts were crashing into each other--I went back to the original template and tried to fix it. It looks as if it works on my end but idk.
I need to "prettify" the now new "changelog" bit, but it also works!
@yon Oh, just Notepad++ and Codepen! No need to over-complicate life when simple stuff will do XD Sometimes if I don't want to use the internet, I'll just open the sites in browser, refresh as needed, and then edit the links later properly when uploading them to servers \ o /
@yon Oh, the template had HTML/CSS originally, but I edited it to have added PHP styling to make it easier for me to edit (so eg the header is in another file and all of that jazz)-- that way, I don't have to edit every single page. It's why I indicate heavy editing in the credits, haha. I also use the htaccess to help make it less ugly and not have the .php pop up lol.
@yon LOOOOL
But yeah, no problem, I don't mind these questions And yeah, hopefully it can be improved a bit more. At least I know where and why now...
