Iron-on velcro worked great! Picked up some tactical patches from PKpatchworks.com a couple months ago during a sale, then a bunch more at #Otakon2024!

Here's a photo of my bag with most of my patches. The Anaheim Electronics one is iron-on, so I'll have to convert it with adhesive back velcro when I have time.

So now that I'm home and relaxing post-Otakon, here are some of the purchase I made at the con.

Was able to snag some anime soundtracks, City Pop and Showa Idol CDs and vinyls, some light novel volumes at 40% off, and some anime figures.

Shout-out to all the lovely people I got to take pictures with at Otakon. I love seeing everyone's dedication to their cosplays. You guys make the random moments between panels and events fun. #Otakon2024 #Otakon

Didn’t take a lot of photos/videos of Otakon (trying to be the person to soak in the moment rather than not living it), but here’s a few things that stood out to me.

Btw, the cat sticker, that represents me If you don’t believe me, you should’ve seen when I had 1,000 tabs open in Firefox. I did clean up once it got to there (I didn’t want it to pass 1,000) and I managed to bring it down to 600 something. Still a lot, but it was tedious.

Also this caught my eye. I didn’t play with it, but I was intrigued by it. Which reminds me, I need to do more research on this one. I’m surprised I haven’t seen anybody talking about this here and there (unless it did make rounds online and I never caught it).

We're finally back from Otakon. Despite the parking garage incident, we had a great time in Washington, DC. There was lots of amazing cosplay to see, fun panels, and just hanging out with friends. I'm looking forward to next year.

Our last day at Otakon. We're just going to check out a fan panel, then probably hit the road.

A special middle finger goes out to the asshole that hit our parked car in the parking garage. Because only a jackass tries to get an SUV or truck onto a space for compact cars. Nothing like a parking garage hit and run to sour the mood.
