What would be the earliest point in time in which a #Bitcoin like #Blockchain could've been made?
As I understand it all the system needs is a #network of computers each running a program that checks for transactions
I'm wondering if a different hash function was used it could be a lot simpler to implement into hardware, but if mechanical computing wasn't powerful enough for that the earliest might've been after WWII with the code breaking machines that the Allies invented

I've decided to get rid of my 2 #retro #computers, a gateway 2000 and a powermac G3. Not sure what to do with them; selling them on eBay hasn't yielded good results and I don't really want to toss them in the trash. Would anyone have any ideas?

@requiem Smartphones aren't really like that... and are not great for creating. Sure, they can capture what you create (audio/video/etc) but as an instrument of creativity they are... lacking.
As a tool of consuming, yeah, they are good at that.

To Recall or not to Recall?
I asked you whether you would like to use Microsoft Recall and 96% said no. 4% said yes, but a couple of you said you did that by mistake.
When Microsoft first introduced Recall, it was on by default. Then they turned it off, because people were appalled. Not sure what they do now.
Can't remember last time I got excited about a tech product, but this is neat.
