In short a really satisfying volume and now it’s time to read the next one
1. Eris’s affection for Rudy is better developed and more touching that it was in the anime
2. In contrast the separation and Rudy’s will to find his mother wasn’t as impactful. I don’t know why but it didn’t feel like a major character development point
3. The fight with Orsted is still a master class. If the anime had a crazy animation (duh), the light novel makes you understand that the victory is impossible with Rudy’s POV and he’s foresight.
And speaking of light novels, after a long pause it’s finally time to read Mushoku Tensei again and I realized that I didn’t write any review for the volume 6
