Hoi hoi!

hello, fediverse. curious question: is this fossil?
i was working on my grandmother's garden when i found this odd-looking rock. some suggested i should split it in half to see if there's fossil, but after trying to inquire more from google, i suspect this could be a fossil itself? i think it was called a steinkern? thanks for the help.

Would you recommend any additives to emulsify thin ink, or dilute-ink, dilute-acrylic paint, etc.?

That the ink might flow well on a dip pen nib, for instance.
(To turn thin watery pigment in to an emulsion which beads properly upon the nib.)

Would you suggest shellac, gum arabic, some kind of liquid gloss acrylic medium, or something else?

Thanks!

I did find a term, that describes that attraction, (of watching the opposite gender romanticizing) but not the person itself. Apparently a terms for that doesn't exist for an individual, and never been thought of?

are you kidding me Google? How have we not gotten to this definition in the English dictionary yet in 2025? what in the.

but anyways the term for that specific type of attraction, is

Did I literally just crack the English dictionary?

???

I had to use the result because there were no specific results for my terms.

Hey fedi, if you could patch one bug found in the human body, what would you fix?

Personally, I would revert the removal of our tail. The bone is still there, so we might as well use it! :neocat_happy_blep:

I took a break from politics to do a little prep work in my courtyard garden and discovered a little joy.

The plant pot this chrysalis is attached to is not one that I brought into my garage to protect from freezes. So I am not sure how that chrysalis survived to hatch. Can chyrsalises survive freezing temperatures to allow a butterfly to hatch in spring? Or ???

#Nature is a mystery.

Does anyone know where I can buy *single* watercolour pencils in Vancouver, BC? Especially white, yellow, blue, light colours like that.

Or, does anyone in Canada know where I can order single watercolour pencils and have them delivered to Vancouver? I'm okay with buying a bunch at a time, provided they're the colours I need.

#question #fun Can someone please explain why people get so upset about spoilers for movies that came out decades ago? It's not like you didn't know Rose was going to let go of Jack in "Titanic."

Some of "The New Republic" articles have substack URLs and some do not.

example:
newrepublic.substack.com/p/tru
vs
newrepublic.com/article/192129

Does anyone know if TNR is monetized through substack or not?

I'm considering subscribing to support the journalism, but I do NOT want any of my money going to support the substack Nazis (anyone who supports Nazis is a Nazi).

Is there a way to auto-expand long posts on the feed and notifications? Clicking that little triangle on so many posts is so annoying lol. I'd rather just see whole posts wherever possible. It's not like I can't hide them or block if someone abuses posts by making something absurdly long anyway. #ms #question
