I wonder if I should move to like, Shopify or BigCartel or just stick with my WooCommerce setup… any insight? Especially for someone starting out selling art goods?
@hikatamika.com I just use itchio ^^; Anything else seems too complicated for me to deal with (in terms of time needed to set up).
Can I do physical stuff on there too? I've been considering it for e-comics and e-zines and stuff
@hikatamika.com Yeah! I haven't tested it out myself, but it requires some more work than just setting up a digital sale, of course. You can limit how many copies you have for sale, and at least from the buyer's side, all you have to do is leave your name and address.
You can have a separate physical listing, but almost everyone I've seen do it has in the same listing, you'd have to scroll further down (and obviously say it's physical in the description). It's just listed as "exclusive" or extras or something.
