Have you heard about the weird, #abandoned 'Camp Century'..?

It was a U.S. military base built within the #Greenland ice sheet in 1959, officially for 'scientific research'. It housed a nuclear-powered reactor and was actually part of 'Project Iceworm': a secret plan to store and launch nuclear missiles. The site was abandoned in 1967 (they forgot the ice would shift, and it crushed some buildings -_-)

These missiles were 'just in case' - to launch at Russia. Quite fascinating to see!

I have been wanting to take a picture of this display ever since the owner of the junkyard in Errington, BC on #bcHwy4 erected it last week.

The time and care he put into this is just 🧑‍🍳 💋
The flags. The sign. The toilet. Amazing.
😂 😂
The dinosaur was already there. It’s a cool spot obviously the owner is an artist.

Trump administration seeks eggs from Denmark

> Two important issues for US President Donald Trump, #Greenland and egg prices, now seem on a collision course.

> The Danish Egg Association says the United States has asked it and producers in other countries if it could export #eggs as prices surge despite President #DonaldTrump's promise to lower them.

There are SO MANY protests taking place in Washington DC these days, but I haven't heard of any that are specifically in opposition to the United States interfering with the sovereignty of Canada, Greenland, and/or Panama. I feel compelled to publicly express strong opposition to the idea of our government invading, annexing, or threatening countries that have done nothing to harm us. Does anyone in Washington DC know of any suitable protests?
