Oh good #JNovelClub has a 11 vol. series up on catchup (free read) this month that I have been looking at.
Culinary Chronicles of the Court Flower

@NaraMoore I find it amusing that he looks like the spitting image of the male lead in Apothecary. I guess that’s “the look”:)
@yon Mind you I am not recommending this book. I have yet to read a single word of it. Just that it was on my list of possibles.
@NaraMoore I’m just wondering if there’s a male lead in vaguely Chinese court drama look that’s so common that you know it at once. That’s all:)
@yon I suspect there is. Which is why I will be more interested in how he is decribed in the book. If you want, I can try and remember to post it when I find it.
@yon Got to finish "She's so Cheeky" first though.
@NaraMoore Always interested to hear what people thought of something, spoiler free of course.
I have this theory (Sherlock Holmes kind) that if you draw enough Venn diagrams with what people enjoy you can find groups that very much agree and you can predict what others in that group would like.
But it would be a lot of surprises:)
@yon The publishing industry things so. And genre thrive for a reason. Things are more fluid than publisher would like though.
@NaraMoore Invest in a sure thing, not art. :(
@yon I have invested in art, but only because I like it. I might even have a painting that is valuable.
@NaraMoore I was thinking of the industry. It’s all just numbers and crazy risks and milking:(
@yon It's legalized racket. Totally insiders profiting and crooks launderying money.
@NaraMoore If you are poor you are a criminal, if you are rich you aren’t…
@yon If your poor your a criminal, if your rich your a shrewed business person.
@yon He doesn't he. I wonder if he so beautiful that if he were a woman he would ruin nations. (A line Appothocary - From memory so it might a word or two off)
