#TheCreator and #ElectricState defend more or less the same plot, the friendly robots and the robot human child. I hate it... but isn't #TheCreator more faithful to #SimonStalenhag's art?

Wow, #ElectricState was spectacular. Didn’t expect that.
I've been trying to finish the movie #electricstate for three days, just to see if @simonstalenhag 's mind-blowing art is reflected anywhere, and it's been a struggle. How is it possible to have such a rich and mind-blowing source material, 320 millions, and end up making a weak techno-toystory? How many times are they going to tell us the story of the empathetic robot?

I'm a bit late to the party, but uhh, yeah. Electric State movie from Netflix.
It's only the trailer so far, but it's clearly depicting a world that's completely different from the Electric State world of Simon Stålenhag's art or the Free League TRPG.
People will undoubtedly discover the rule via the movie, and those people will have all sorts of wrong expectations for the rule.
