Good Moo everyone! I am finally back up with the parrots in an attempt to try to ease back into my normal routine and give poor Grant a break and a long lie as he's been running around like a dafty looking after me and the Crew since my recent mecfs crash. I may need to go back to bed in a bit, but for now I managed the spoons to clean and feed them all at least, and cuddle Ziggy of course I have so missed my morning Ziggy cuddles! And I think she has too, because she sat with me for ages, just tucked up under my chin, grumbling away to herself.

So another day of not doing much on the cards, frustrating, but necessary to recover. A new crochet order came in last night and I have the competition toy to work on, but I'll have to hold off for another day or two as much as my very essence is screaming at me to get on with it. And all of this due to a broken loo!

Good morning Fellow Travellers Around the Sun How on earth are we at the end of the week already? March is just zooming past! When I had finished cleaning the parrots' cages this morning and opened Ziggy's door to let her out she immediately said "Good Moo!" again and blew me a kiss. Then she pooped, said "Poop!" just to let me know, hopped onto my shoulder, tucked herself under my chin and said "Good bird!', which of course she is. It does not matter how weary I may feel in the morning, a little shot of Ziggy just perks me right up

Parrot kitchen today: fresh chop and that hummus to make. The chickpeas have been soaking in the fridge for three days now so they will cook up nicely in the One Pot. After that I will be working on the competition crochet toy and watching something, still to be decided.

Good morning everyone Chilly here again today at 0 degrees C and I'm feeling the difference, despite being tucked up in the warm living room with the parrots, who are all busy munching breakfast, with the occasional "Wow!" from Toby as he goes back and forth between his food and banging the hell out of the bell on one of his toys Ziggy is making little happy noises as she finds what she likes in her mix and Jadie is doing the usual of throwing half her bowl out as she tries to find the seeds. I've been reducing her daily seed ration gradually over time so she has to dig around a lot more than before. I'm still trying to get her to eat more fresh foods, but she's adept at ignoring any veggies, except sweet potatoes..all served on her flat perch of course as she refuses to eat fresh food out of a bowl

Good morning Fellow Travellers around the Sun Coffee has been poured and munching is well underway here at Parrot Central after a successful medication delivery to Ziggy, who once again practically licked the chrome off the spoon so eager was she to get the baby food. I ordered new meds, and despite the other one not being quite finished, I tried this instead. It appears that the stuff may go off earlier than anticipated and this is why Zigs was refusing them. Unfortunately there are no real meds for parrots - they are usually dog/cat pills mixed in tiny amounts with water. Not enough research (or money making opportunities for the pharmaceutical companies) in birds I guess.

Sunday chores this morning and an old friend I haven't seen in years coming around later for a cuppa and a chat And some crochet, as a new order came in yesterday.

Good morning Fellow Travellers on the Galactic Spiral Arm Here at Parrot Central we have all just settled in for the morning, me with my coffee and the parrots their breakfast. Ziggy was not for taking her medication this morning again, despite it being mixed with the baby food she has happily scoffed every other morning. I had to eventually smear it over her food in the hopes she might get some of it - other than that which she head flicked all over me and the couch - in. Looks like I may have to change it again to mash for a while. The strange thing is, in the evening when you would think she is a lot less hungry, there's never an issue. Contrarian wee bird!

Going to the post office to hopefully pick up a parcel of yarn I ordered and then I am having a gaming day. BG3 on the cards with Aunty Ethel to go and sort out. *Gulp*

Good morning you lovely lot Late rise for me today as Grant got up for the parrots. Just as well as I spent some time gaming last night and went way past my normal bedtime. I played some BG3, but mostly I was back in Ferelden again with a newly rolled character and some new mods to try. I know, I can't help myself

I'm sitting with the parrots now as I drink my coffee. It's all calm after the initial excitement of them greeting me - something I always love to experience, although Toby's screeching can be a bit brain shattering first thing Ziggy is now at the back of her cage grumbling, which means she is chewing her plastic links, Jadie is tucked in to her little blanket and beak crunching and Toby is in his food bowl again trying to find something he hasn't beaten yet. All is good.

Off to the dump this morning and then the shops.

Good morning you lovely lot I'm up with the parrots again today and they are all munching away as I sip my coffee and prepare for work. Ziggy was particularly cuddly this morning and wanted to sit on my head when we went through to the kitchen to get her medication. It usually means she's uncertain about something as she does it for security - the highest perch and all that - but I couldn't see what was making her nervous. Ghosts again probably I started to look for closed in TV cabinets as we still haven't figured out a way to stop Toby trying to get behind the telly, but boy oh boy are they expensive! I think a shooftie around the charity shops might be in order.

Work today again. Meetings aplenty on the cards.

Good morning everyone I've just finished my morning parrot duties and am settling down with a quick coffee before work today. I managed a brief cuddle with Ziggy, but she was too hungry for much more than that and is now munching her breakfast with the usual accompaniment of "Mmm"s and "Good!"s as she finds things she likes such as golden kiwi and cooked red pepper. She still gets her pellets of course, but they are mixed into the chop so that she has to forage to find them. Foraging is good for parrots and I do the same for Toby with his Tops pellets and would do it for Jadie, but putting chop into *her* bowl would just result in her refusing to eat altogether

Work today. No doubt a bazillion emails await! Grant is on leave for another week and I'm already wishing I had done the same. Hey-ho. Needs must and all that
