Verve - "A Storm In Heaven" (1993)
This record falls into that weird category for me, of records I was obsessed with when they were released, but then immediately lost all interest in the band for all subsequent releases (apart from that b-sides e.p. from the same year).
It's still sounds great. Dreamy psych prog shoegaze (?). Hard to classify. Terrific guitar on this.

It wasn’t until I moved to Liverpool in the 90s that I felt like I really had access to music on my terms.
So it’s no surprise that a recent return to the city set off waves of nostalgia.
