One panel of a 3-page commission for #fodongo #freeculture zine. It's the continuation of the "Ghost" story originated by @HarukaK / @HaruK which we build alternatively as a chain, picking up whether the other left off.

Comic panel drawing with blue and black pencil. Work in progress. It's in dutch (diagonal) angle. Depicts a bulky, muscular, a bit fat man, throwing with his right hand a girl towards the front. Tha man's posture is like a baseball pitcher, but less technical and more aggressive. The girls is shown foreshortened, her head tilted towards the back, body parallel to the ground. She has bob haircut and wears a wornout robe. The man wears prison pants and a white sleaveless top underwear. There are lines depicting the excessing power of the throw. Straight lines from the direction of the hand towards the direction of the girl and come circular ones around the centre where the hand of the guy is. All of this happens inside a room. No details of it are drawn.

In this page there's three panels stacked vertically. The first panel has Gloria and Ernie leaving Frida and Dana's home. Frida says 'Excellent, so we will check that tomorrow. Be safe on your way, friends!'. Dana says 'G'night!'. Gloria waves and says 'Yeah, sounds good! I am exhausted.' Ernie says 'Hope no one's chasing us, haha'. Ernie is carrying the Smilology box. Second panel has Gloria walking away and noticing that Ernie looks dejected. In the third panel Gloria turns around and says '...You wanted a sleep-over, didn't you?'. Ernie says 'I am always ready with my trusty toothbrush!'

At the time I experimented with finding the motives in randomly layered images found on the internet... A technique which somehow comically is similar to, or maybe more to the point, the reverse of generic AI.

First page of Ivan G Azuara's 'Family'. First panel has a thin man looking out his window, with disheveled hair. He sees a bunch of zombies walking around, and we see his thoughts: 'It doesn't look so bad. Yes, well, the zombies are roaming freely. But it's not a virus, nor a fungus, or anything like that. It doesn't even spread. One day, the dead simply rose up.' Second panel is a close up of him. 'At first, everything was chaos. But I managed to create a safe home for my family.' Third panel has him walking by a picture of his family, separate of a picture of himself. 'We've never been very close. For some reason they've always left me out'. Fourth panel has him still walking the house 'But when the rising began, everything changed. Well, not immediately, but in the end we became a family'/ Fifth panel he looks from the banister down to the front doot, where someone's yelling 'Help! Open up! Please Open the door!'. He keep thinking 'But it's been many months, and we're starting to drift apart again'.

First page of "Thirteen at Table, adapted from the Lord Dunsany Tale", by Piper Bly. There's two panels. The first one has some boxes of text: 'In front of a spacious fireplace of the old kind, when the logs were well-alight, and men with pipes and glasses were gathered before it in great easeful chairs, and the wild weather outside and the comfort that was within and the hour of the night all called for the weird and the uncanny.... Then out spole the Ex-Master of Foxhounds -- and told his tale.' The Ex-master of Foxhounds then talks while wielding a cigar: '...And I... I once had an odd experience, too.' Second panel has a fox in the foreground being chased. Text reads 'It was when I had the bromley and sydenham, the year I gave them up -- as a matter of fact it was the last they of the season. Twas early April, and we had drawn blank all day-- And on the last draw of all we found a fox. We settled down into a steady gallop-- left the clay lands where the bracken grows and came to a valley at the edge of the chalk--'

First page of the 4th installment of Slumberland Nap. A dark figure asks 'Why do you three keep falling into Slumberland?' A confused person replies 'We keep waking up here?' Moon, which was the dark figure, says (startled) 'Waking up? No one wakes up in Slumberland!' Suddenly Sherlock Holmes bursts in yelling 'And that's how I solved the case of the Green Carbuncle!'. He is followed closely by Watson, who says 'I thought it was blue?'
