Last week, I captured the stunning beauty of crocus flowers, their soft petals glistering in the Sun. I got closer and photographed the small details of pollen in the heart of this crocus - they look like little orange pearls

New and replanted bulbs update. More crocuses have sprouted and maybe one of the daffodil bulbs they are planted on top of. This is the last to bloom daffodil spot. The circle of daffodils in the warm area are mostly up but none in the cool circle. One daffodil in a container is up a little. The snowdrops are done blooming.

Everything is super dry in the forest but the snopdrops managed to make it regardless. This bee was very happy about them.

The bees love the snowdrops.

Someone in the area must have crocuses on the south side of their house because there aren't any sprouted up here. Also a still of the other bee on the snowdrops.

I saw a bee with orange pollen so I investigated the flowers. I found a bee on the snowdrops but the pollen is yellow!

This day exploded with snowdrops, bees, insects, and the first Red Admirable butterfly (Vanessa atalanta). Since my early childhood, it's my ritual to fill the first seen #flowers after winter into this vase. The snowdrops in our village date from the 1920s. A wonderful scent, the bees are powdered with pollen! If it's too cold, snowdrops are self-pollinators.
