While I don't always catch fish here, I keep trying, and more often than not, no fish 🙃
The process is far more important than the outcome. But occasionally,
a nice catch😉

A small creek winds through the woods, its swift current crashing against a boulder before veering right to flow around it. The stream continues to flow under the cloudy sky.

Squirrel on the Roof

This morning, I stepped out the backdoor and spotted a little eastern gray squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) sunning itself on the roof of my backyard shed. It must have leapt there from a nearby tree, perhaps drawn by the warmth of the roof. The chilly morning air made it the perfect spot to soak up some heat.

This one has Birds (Mallards) and a Deer in it. This Deer is a Male Sika Deer.

Sika deer are known for their expressive whistling calls, particularly during the autumn rut, their breeding season. Males can be territorial and engage in vocal and physical displays to attract females.

This evening it will mainly be Deer related with a few birds thrown in.

Sika deer, originally from East Asia, were introduced to the UK in 1860. They are medium-sized deer, standing up to a metre tall at the shoulder

Sika deer are found in scattered populations across the UK, with the largest numbers in Scotland, Cumbria, Dorset, and the New Forest. They prefer coniferous woodlands and heathlands but adapt to various habitats

I was so incredibly lucky today, I know that this little owl lives in the area and saw it a few times already, but it always flew away long before I was able to get a good photo.
But today it wasn't phased by my presence at all and allowed me to get this photo. That was such an awesome experience!
